Inland from the Sandgate foreshore
Sandgate is about 10 minutes north-east of Taigum. Mr. Phone Taigum is inside Taigum Square Shopping Centre, a short drive inland from the foreshore. It's about a 10 min drive (6 km).
Driving from Sandgate
Follow Sandgate Road south through Deagon to Boondall, then turn right into Roghan Road and stay on it west into Taigum. A left into Church Road brings you to the centre at Beams Road; parking is free.
Sandgate station
Sandgate station sits on the Shorncliffe line, one stop before the end of the line at Shorncliffe. For Taigum a bus is usually easier than the train, and the Translink journey planner shows the route.
Sand and salt in the charging port
A day on the foreshore can leave sand and salt in a phone's charging port. Don't dig it out with anything metal: we can clean it safely, or replace the port if it's corroded.
